The Methodist Circuit is in the rural Vale of Glamorgan. It is not far from rugged coastline, beautiful beaches and magnificent scenery, yet close to the city of Cardiff with its great commercial, cultural, entertainment and health facilities.
The Circuit takes in the seaside towns of Barry and Penarth, along with the villages of Dinas Powys and St Athan.
The Gathering place is a wonderful community link between church and people in the surrounding areas. We are home to plenty of groups and classes for local people, with a comforting sense of worship in our space.
Strong ecumenical links exist across the Circuit. There are a number of Action for Children and Methodist Homes projects within the Circuit along with the Methodist Amelia Trust Farm.
Our mission is to proclaim the gospel of Christ and witness God’s presence in the world through word and action.
